Family Portraits-Brianne-ShawnSusan Knott Photography had the pleasure of creating 2nd Anniversary Portraits for Brianne & Shawn recently! Maybe we can call them Family Portraits, because they've added Tucker into the mix! Tucker looks very calm here, but he was so excited to be in the Corning Preserve in Albany, NY as every few minutes another family came by with their dogs! Happy Anniversary guys! Tucker...you were awesome!!
You'll notice below, that Tucker has his paw on Shawn's foot, to make sure that Shawn doesn't run out into the bike path to see the passing runners! But he's keeping an eye on them.
Brianne and Shawn picked a great weekend for downtown Albany, the fall colors were so brilliant!

Wedding Photography, Mayfield, NY-LynnMarie & MarkWe had the pleasure to meet LynnMarie and her family on a cold day last winter in Amsterdam, NY. She decided that day, that Susan Knott Photography was going to document her special day on September 22, 2012. We planned for their engagement photos in the spring. That day, we took some photos, had a quick bite while we waited for the rain to pass, then took some more! We knew then they would make a beautiful bride and groom in the fall. Here's one of our favorites from the engagement photos taken at Lanzi's on the Lake overlooking the Sacandaga Lake.
It could be that Lynn's favorite thing on her wedding day, (besides Mark, that is!) was her shoes!

Then, it was back to Lanzi's on the Lake, their choice location for photos of the wedding party and family. Once again, just like at the Engagement session, the weather was threatening, but somehow we made it all the way through and the rain started to fall with the last portrait! By the way, we NEEDED this space, as you'll see by large bridal party that stood by LynnMarie and Mark on their wedding day.
Gotta love them shoes!

Wedding Photography, Albany, NY-Pam & Adam
Pamela & Adam were actually married on September 11th, 2010, and due to both their impending deployments in the U. S. Army, they had a brief ceremony in Kentucky where they were stationed. However, many family and friends couldn't make the trip, so they decided to create an Albany-based Wedding Vow Renewal on September 15th this year, since Adam's family lives in and around Menands, NY. Love the Turquoise Tony Lama boots! What a fabulous choice for her fairy tale wedding!
Pam and Adam raise horses in Kentucky and it is their wish to have their own horse ranch somewhere in the Northeast when Pam's active service is complete. Pam grew up on horses and is as comfortable there as any place, and so she was gracefully carried by "REO" and escorted by her cousin Range down the walkway to meet Adam!
They chose the beautiful and historic Pruyn House in Latham for their ceremony & celebration!

"If ya like it, then ya shoulda put a ring on it"...and Adam did!
After a delicious dinner, catered by The Old Daley Inn the party began with Patrick Bergeron and Metro Music and the bride tossed the bouquet to "all the single ladies".
A magical night, but only the beginning of the rest of their life together!
