Should you have a second photographer at your wedding?Should you hire a Second Wedding Photographer?Many wedding photographers offer the additional option to hire a second photographer for your wedding. It's a good idea, for several reasons, and when you hire Susan Knott Photography, all of our wedding photography packages include my husband, Jon and me. Often, when wedding photographers are We both typically arrive to you about an hour before you put your dress on to photograph the dress, shoes and other details, as well as you getting ready. When you start to put your dress on, Jon heads over to get some shots of the guys getting ready. We meet up at your ceremony and you get two vantage points all day. One wedding photographer can’t be in two places at once, and from our experience, it’s always a benefit. Couples look at our photos and often say “I didn’t even know that happened!” or “I didn’t even know you were there!” These first 4 photos were taken at roughly the same time in two different locations.
Weddings are fast-moving events with alot going on in different places. That's true for the two of you getting ready, but also at the wedding ceremony and reception! During your ceremony, one of us can capture a wide shot of your whole bridal party during your vows, while the other can zoom in to those intimate moments and when you see your photos later, you'll remember what you were thinking at that moment. Same goes for the reception, one of us is taking a nice close up of the bride and groom dancing, and on the other side of the dance floor, Grandma and Grandpa get up to dance for the first time in years! We've got you covered! It certainly is an asset to have two photographers on your big day to capture more for you to see later! And when you have Susan Knott Photography as your wedding photographers, you'll know us both before your wedding day, and you'll know you have two people who can work and coordinate together and make you and your family and friends look their best on your wedding day! Happy Spring! We're looking forward to life eventually getting back to normal as I'm sure you are! I can't wait to photograph more weddings in Southwest Florida and beyond. We met so many couples at Bridal Blast 2020 at the Hertz arena in February that are in varied stages of wedding preparation. When you know your date and wedding/reception venue, we'd be happy to talk and hear about your day! You always get two photographers at weddings with Susan Knott Photography. My husband Jon and I have shot hundreds of weddings together so we know each other very well. Some couples have specific photo requests. For some, we've been given a printout of poses they like or a link to their Pinterest account, and then we've worked with couples that didn't have specifics and left that to us. Either way is good for us. We love knowing what you like and what's important to you on your wedding day, but are just as happy to have you leave it to us and we'll make you look and feel your best on your wedding day! The best compliment I've every received from a bride was "You made my day less stressful"! Regardless of who you hire for wedding photography, be sure you know who is actually handling the photography that day, and that you are comfortable with them and like them. Wedding Photographers in Southwest Florida, ready for 2020!Happy Holidays! We are now booking additional weddings for 2020 and 2021 in Southwest Florida!
