Sarah & Jason's Engagement Photos in Saratoga, NY
We met Sarah & Jason earlier this year, as they had just been engaged and were busily planning their wedding for the fall. We joined them to shoot their Engagement photos on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in and around the Gideon Putnam Hotel in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
It wasn't long ago that Jason presented Sarah with a small box with a few 3 x 5 cards inside.
Sarah found these magical words inside....
They had a great time playing for the camera, and practicing for their big day. Engagement photos give us the chance to get to know the couple better, plus they know us better, and what to expect on their wedding day. You know, things like, when we say "one more"...it really means "two or three more!" Being romantic and having fun front of the camera at their engagement shoot helps them to become more comfortable with us being there.

Colleen & Kris, Wedding Photography, Schenectady, NY
Colleen and Kris bring their blended families together with this wedding! They were married in the beautiful First Reformed Church of Scotia. Photographers are sometimes hampered by "no flash" rules when the church is dark, but this beautiful sanctuary was filled with light through multiple large windows! Beautiful afternoon!
Colleen was beautiful with handsome Dad, as she started her way down the aisle.
And the guys got together for this one in downtown Schenectady, just before their trip to church.
We loved this image of Colleen, with Kris' son, Adrian 'gettin' down' in front of her by the entertainment of Vinny at Non Stop Music -- all framed by her Mom and Dad looking on at the Turf Tavern in Scotia. Thanks Colleen & Kris for including us in your day! It was a blast!
