"Wedding Photography, Albany, NY", "Wedding Photos", "Wedding Portraits", "Vietnamese Weddings""Wedding Photography, Albany, NY", "Wedding Photos", "Wedding Portraits", "Vietnamese Weddings"Yen & Guck were married during the Fourth of July weekend!  Thanks to both of you and your families for inviting us into your homes and to your event.  It was a pleasure and honor to work with you.

Yen wore two dresses, her traditional Vietnamese dress, and her "Western" dress.  This is her western gown.

Here's Guck...waiting patiently, maybe even just a little nervously.  

It is Vietnamese tradition that the groom's family and friends leave their home in an orderly fashion and travel to the bride's home.  They carry with them traditional tea and food to be shared together with the joined families.

All the bride's family and friends patiently await the parade containing the groom.  The younger family members of the groom present flowers to the bride's family. 

The beautifully decorated food trays shown here are presented to the adult members of the bride's family.

Everyone makes their entrance, two by two, to the bride's home, where the ceremony is to be held.

Family members uncover the trays of food and everyone applauds the soon to be bride & groom.

After I photographed them with all of the guests, Guck said..."Now you Susan!", so Jon took our photo together!  Such a fun couple!

Then, it was time to make the change for Yen's Western wedding gown.

Beautiful gown!  Handsome husband!

Then we traveled to the Crossings in Colonie for a few memorable portraits!

After the Crossings, it was time for the party!  Steve & the staff at The Plum Blossom in Troy, NY closed the restaurant and put on a tremendous party, with food that just kept coming!  And...Karaoke!  Yen & Guck welcomed their family and friends here.
