Marina & James' day began with their prep at their parents' homes, then on to St. Anthony's Church in Schenectady, NY and a big celebration nearby with their families and friends at the Stockade Inn, Schenectady, NY! Amanda and her mom met with us during a snowstorm last winter to talk about the wedding photography for their event. Amanda wasn't sure at that moment where she wanted to do her Engagement Photography session, but she knew that their motorcycle would play a part. And, it did! We met in downtown Albany near City Hall in early summer for the engagement session, and yes, the motorcycle was there too. We had some fun getting to know Amanda & Shawn, and gave them some practice in front of the camera! Check out their some of their engagement session here. Senior Portrait Photography-Ballston Spa High School-AlexandriaAlexandria, a senior at Ballston Spa saw her friend's senior portrait gallery by Susan Knott Photography and called to set her appointment. Again, our work was made easy for us, as she is a natural in front of the camera! Some of Alexandria's session also included her rifle...as she has been a member of the Galway Junior Rifle team since she was twelve. She shoots a .22 caliber target rifle, as well as an air rifle. While she doesn't want the rifle in her senior photos, it was important to her to have it as part of her photo session. That's the beauty of our senior sessions, because it's not one-and-done. We take many photos in different locations and poses, and Seniors can choose their yearbook senior portrait from all of the photos, plus have some for other personal uses and remembrances for themselves and family. Alexandria's grandfather got her involved in the Rifle team and he's her biggest supporter. She competes both locally and nationally against both club and collegiate teams, and has earned numerous medals and awards. She earned the opportunity to compete in the Junior Olympics in Colorado Springs and hopes to get another invite this year. Her scores have earned her recognition from Akron University, Annapolis and the Coast Guard Academy. Here's a sampling of photos from her Senior Portrait session, at Yaddo Gardens in Saratoga!
