Groomsmen makes surprise engagement proposal at his sister's wedding!Laura & Jake were married Saturday, October 27th at Glen Sanders Mansion among their family and friends! Susan Knott Photography was proud to provide the wedding photography for them! Little did most people know, that Laura's brother John had planned to propose to his girlfriend Ashley at the wedding! Laura & Jake were thrilled with the news and wanted to help him! Check out some photos below that showed how it played out! It was time for Laura to throw the bouquet, so DJ Eric Catalano of Pure Sound Entertainment called all of the bridesmaids to the dance floor. That's Ashley at the far left, and John, secretly behind her!
Laura wound up to throw it and, then turned around and handed Ashley the bouquet. John moves into place, ring in hand and taps Ashley to turn around.
She suddenly realizes what's going on and John asks her to marry him!
With John on bended knee, Ashey says 'YES' and John slips the engagement ring on her finger. Laura shows her approval in the background!
At this point, Ashley might be REALLY happy! :)
And seeing that smile, John is happy too!!
To follow that, DJ Eric played a nice romantic slow song, and while everyone was dancing, Laura flashes that "Gotcha!" look to Ashley.
Congratulations Ashley & John, and thanks for fun and exciting moment in an already amazing day with Laura & Jake!

Our basic High School Senior Portrait photo package is $295. Your package include the photo file you choose for the yearbook. We'll send the file to your school and to you. After your session, the package price includes a $50 print credit to be used toward photo prints you choose from the session. If you want the traditional studio shot, we'll provide that with any package. If all you need is the traditional headshot, we can provide that for just $100. We have other packages too, one that includes a book displaying the awesome photos from your session, and one that includes all the digital files from your session on a flash drive.
